Lorenzen Wright Missed During Grizzlies Playoff Run

Lorenzen Wright 1975 - 2010

The Memphis Grizzlies are making an incredible impact in the 2011 NBA Playoffs. As an “8 seed” team, not many expected them to successfully compete against the top-seeded San Antonio Spurs.

Quite the contrary.

The Grizzlies lead the Spurs 3-1 in a seven game series that has exposed San Antonio’s age. This Memphis team is proving that the guard is changing in the NBA as young talent like O.J. Mayo and others throughout the league have emerged with fierce competitiveness and excitement.

The excitement surrounding the Grizzlies playoff run is bittersweet though, as pointed out by veteran Shane Battier and Coach Lionel Hollins.

Swizz Beatz Remixes Anthem For New York Knicks

Super producer Swizz Beatz has taken on the task of amping the Big Apple for the New York Knicks‘ playoff run.

With stamps of approval from Amar’e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony, Swizz set out to recreate the NBA club’s long time theme song, “Go New York,” with this in mind….

“As far as music-wise, my job is to make sure I make an anthem that takes the game level from point A to point B, keep the crowd hype….just doing what I do. Just like what the players gonna do, what they gonna do on the court. It’s just a joint effort to raise the bar for New York, let everyone know it’s a problem this year.”
