The Lady has an affinity for salt and pepper facial hair and there are few men who do this most-distinguished look justice as does Mr. Julius Winfield Erving II.

Salt and Pepper's Finest
In his prime, Dr. J, the Pisces, the native New Yorker, was undeniably talented. He played his college years at UMASS and began his professional career in the ABA (he was arguably that leagues brightest star.) Erving was an integral part of the ABA’s merger with the NBA, where he went on to play for the Philadelphia 76er’s. During his career, he was one who literally changed the game of basketball. His finesse and flash, his skill level and innovation, all contributed to a new excitement and style of play.
His accomplishments? Where do I begin? Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Inductee, member of the NBA’s 50th Anniversary All-Time Team, NBA Champion, NBA MVP, NBA All-Star (11 times,) NBA All-Star MVP (twice,) ABA Champion (twice,) ABA MVP (twice,) and ABA co-MVP. The list really does go on, but you get the gist.

The Los Angeles Vikings?
6 December, 2010
by Rob
For NFL teams that could end up relocating to Los Angeles, it seems we can toss the Minnesota Vikings into the mix. While I believe LA will actually get a team, I don’t believe the Minnesota franchise would become the golden child to fulfill that prophecy. I mean, the Los Angeles Vikings? Really?
Any team in the division formerly known as the NFC Central (yes, I still refer to it as such,) is too firmly entrenched in storied history to be uprooted to a city of sun, frolic, and fickle like LA. Those teams are of the old “black and blue” division. They’re supposed to play in the cold. Money talks though, so never say never.
