In celebration of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Shaquille O’Neal joined fellow athletes Magic Johnson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Jackie Joyner Kersee, along with his mom, Lucille O’Neal in Los Angeles for an official photo call. Several entertainers, including Jennifer Lopez, Smokey Robinson, Martin Sheen, Ashanti, Denzel Washington and Kerry Washington were also on hand for the snapshot.
All of these athletes and entertainers went to Boys & Girls Clubs as children and its wonderful that they lend their voices and support for the organization which has been in existence since 1860.

Rob at BlackSportsOnline is uncertain of the type of success Pryor will have in the pros, but I believe he will find his way. Lets just hope he has the focus and determination to do so. He may not be the best talent to come out of college football lately, but he’s certainly not the worst. I say he deserves a chance to prove his worth.
Pryor recently declared for the NFL Supplemental Draft after leaving The Ohio State University behind scandal. The supplemental draft will be held sometime in July and whispers say the Cleveland Browns have the most interest in the QB at this time.
As his star continues to rise, Blake Griffin has inked a deal to represent Kia Motors America as their global spokesperson.
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is in need of his publicist, pronto. Sporting News reports that Peterson has opted out of attending the Old Spice Adrian Peterson Football Camp, managed by Pro Camps, to participate in an NFL Network program highlighting the league’s Top 100 players.
The camps website posted the following message….
I don’t know what type of contractual agreement he had with Pro Camps, if any, but whatever the case, I am sure that will get worked out, but a situation in which kids seemingly get slighted is not good look.
