REPLAY: The Best Interview Ozzie Guillen Has Ever Given

Do you know Chicago White Sox Skipper Ozzie Guillen?

After you watch these videos you’ll know him a heap better.

Ozzie Guillen is the Chicago White Sox. He’s a warrior and a madcap. He’s a walking open mic night. He is everything you’re not and much of what you wish to be. He doesn’t give a damn. The man once fired his own son.

Ozzie holds his tongue for no one and that’s beautiful. Its easy to become endeared to his broken English and gruff delivery.

He recently sat down with Jeremy Schapp of ESPN’s E:60 for one the most magnetic interviews ever seen in sports.

As the interview begins, he immediately goes hard on Sean Penn in regard to his native Venezuela, and then said that if the chance to use steroids were presented to him he would have used them.

Watch….

Did he say Sammy Sosa and Mark McGwire saved baseball? Yup, and it needed to be said. By the way, Ozzie detests Jay Mariotti(ask around, he’s not alone). Oh, and one more thing… Ozzie has an inner Mommie Dearest. No wire hangers allowed.

On therapy he offered this hilarious quip, “They sent a guy to help me, I helped him!” Wait. Who says that???

What I love about his wife, Ibis, is that she recognizes what she’s working with when it comes to Ozzie. She said, “I never change him in 30 years. You think I will change that? Un uh. I don’t think so.”

Ibis is clearly down with the program-as she should be.
