Detroit Lions bring Reggie Bush into the fold
Reggie Bush has agreed to a four-year contract with the Detroit Lions.
The seven-year pro, who just turned 28, will join the Lions after spending last season with the Miami Dolphins.
The Lions current running back corp include Joique Bell and Mikel Leshoure, whom Bush will likely supplant as starter, and the oft-injured Jahvid Best.
The addition of Bush should ease the loads on QB Matt Stafford, and star receiver Calvin Johnson.
During his introductory presser, Bush said the support from Lions players, past and present, like Nate Burleson, Johnson and Hall-of-Famer Barry Sanders, meant a lot.
Sanders lent his support when he sent this tweet out, Tuesday…
Hey, I’d love to see @reggiebush here in the D. I’ve always been outspoken (for me) about how important I think the run game is. Even today.

Reggie will have to choose a new jersey number in Detroit, as his usual number, 22, has been retired in honor of former Lions great, Bobby Layne.
