Tony Farmer sentenced to prison for kidnapping
Prep basketball player Tony Farmer received a rude awakening Wednesday when an Ohio judge sentenced him to three-years in prison. In April, Farmer and his ex-girlfriend, Andrea Lane, were in an altercation after a breakup which resulted in the young standout being indicted by a grand jury with kidnapping, felonious assault and robbery.
Obviously, Farmer was not prepared for what possibly lay ahead as his punishment, because once the judge began to read the details of his sentence, he stood in disbelief. Before all was said and done (the judge ultimately ruled the years given to be served concurrently,) Farmer collapsed to the floor as people in the courtroom gasped and cried behind him.

You hate to see the effects of young love end this way, but it shows that young people are often ill-equipped and too immature to handle their emotions.
Tony Farmer is 18 years of age and now his future is in jeopardy.

…he was so shocked that he received ANY kind of sentencing. Hopefully, he will learn from his mistake, but its likely that his basketball dreams will not come to fruition as he and his family hoped.
