Jay-Z sues 40/40 Club chef for 1.5M
Fail to hold up your end of the bargain with Jay-Z and you might get sued. Just ask Chef Michael Shand.
Shand, who was put in charge of revamping the menu at Jay-Z’s Manhattan 40/40 Club, has been hit with a $1.5 million lawsuit by the hip hop mogul for failure “to to perform on significant aspects” of a contract agreement.
I’m not sure how difficult it is to create a menu for an upscale sports bar/nightclub, but the lack of effort can’t be worth a mill ticket plus half.
