Wanda Pratt, mother of Kevin Durant, holds her own on ESPN First Take
As far as NBA mom’s go, Wanda Pratt is currently the reigning champ. Her season seats to Oklahoma City Thunder games are court side, and her hair and makeup remain flawless. She is graceful, poised, and the biggest supporter and self-professed critic of her son, Kevin Durant.
Wednesday, Ms. Wanda (in my mind that’s what people call her) joined the crew of ESPN First Take at the debate desk for some lighthearted banter, NBA Finals analysis, and insight on Durant as a player.

This was a great segment. Ms. Wanda handled Jay, Skip, and Stephen A. like a pro, especially when Bayless tried to rope her into his negative comfort zone.
Her kind words about Russell Westbrook and LeBron James had a mother’s touch, and watching her gives you a clear understanding of why Kevin Durant is the rising star that he is.
Game two of the NBA Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Miami Heat will be Thursday, June 14, 8 PM ET, at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
