Welp, there you have it folks. As expected (at least in the world of Ballertainment), the NBA players have rejected the latest deal proposed by the NBA and its owners.
The players union will now file a Disclaimer of Interest which means they no longer wish to negotiate on behalf of the players, and this lockout is headed to court.
Does this spell the cancellation of the entire NBA season? Only time will tell. The players stood their ground in New York and didn’t allow David Stern or the owner’s intimidation tactics to sway them.
I am quite proud.
