The Obamas make their Kiss Cam debut at USA Basketball game in DC

President and Mrs. Obama enjoyed family night out at the Verizon Center Monday in Washington, by watching the USA National Team compete against Brazil in an exhibition game.

Of course, all eyes were on The Obamas as they entered the arena, but one of the most entertaining elements of attending a pro basketball game is the Kiss Cam, and POTUS and FLOTUS were not exempt.

The Kiss Cam randomly selects couples to kiss on the jumbotron while the Cranberrie’s hit song, “Kiss Me” plays throughout the arena.

Initially, they attempted to avoid the spotlight by declining to engage in a kiss, and the crowd booed, but the Kiss Cam operator wasn’t deterred and the First Couple were given another chance at PDA.

They did not disappoint and in the end Team USA prevailed over Brazil 80-69.

Watch the kiss…

First Lady Michelle seems a little shy, huh?

Vice President Joe Biden, who was also in attendance seemed to get a kick out of it all.

Way to go POTUS, lay those kisses down flat!

At half-time, the president spoke with ESPN’s Mark Jones and offered high praise to both the men’s and women’s USA National teams.

President Obama and Vice President Biden took time out earlier in the day to visit with the women’s team and the president is seen here posing for a photograph with team member Angel McCoughtry, who also plays for the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream.
