Penn State put on notice by banner plane message<
One day last week, after the release of The Freeh Report, I tweeted the sentiment that the Joe Paterno statue would be harmed if it weren’t removed by Penn State officials.
Tuesday, someone lent credence to my argument when they decided to charter a plane and attach a banner to it that reads “TAKE DOWN THE STATUE OR WE WILL”
@Ben_Jones88 tweeted this photo of the plane as it flew over Beaver Stadium where the Nittany Lions play.
Obviously, someone is pissed.
Too date, no decision has been made about the fate of the Paterno statue, but the debate about whether or not it should be removed runs far and wide.
While it isn’t the most important decision that needs to be made right now in light of all the newly released details of Jerry Sandusky’s reign of pedophiliac terror, its an issue that must be dealt with sooner than later.
