Michael Jordan and Yvette Prieto wed in Palm Beach
Michael Jordan said “I do” Saturday, to former Cuban-American model, Yvette Prieto.
The couple met in 2009, and became engaged in 2011.
500 guests, including Scottie and Larsa Pippen, Ron Harper, Spike Lee, Patrick Ewing and Tiger Woods, witnessed the ceremony at Bethesda-by-the Sea, and Episcopal church in Palm Beach, Florida.
Prieto, 34, wore a designer gown by Australia-based J’Aton Couture.
Following the ceremony, the guest list increased to 2000, at a reception held beneath a 40,000-square-foot tent erected on Jack Nicklaus’ golf course in Jupiter, Fla.
This is the second marriage for Jordan, and because it is Prieto’s first, he spared no expense to give his bride the wedding ceremony of her dreams.
He is currently the owner of the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats franchise.
