An apology was issued by man accussed in murder of Sean Taylor
A 25-year old man incarcerated for the murder of Sean Taylor wrote a letter to The Washington Times in response to questions they asked of him about the incident.
Venjah Hunte expressed regret over the home invasion and murder of Taylor which occurred November 26, 2007…
My thought or intentions weren’t to hurt him or noone [sic] else, let alone murder, it was something I thought would never happen,” Hunte wrote in the letter to The Times. “Even though I didn’t pull the trigger I still have to take responsibility for my actions. Period.
Hunte was 19 or 20 when this happened. Sean Taylor was 24.
Taylor is gone forever, and Hunte will be in jail until he is well into his 50’s. It is truly tragic all around.
In April, four other men accused of the crime will finally face trial.
