Ochocinco was released from the New England Patriots Thursday. They tries to trade him, to no avail, so out the door he was sent.
I can’t say I didn’t see this coming. His time in New England always seemed to be in limbo; a strange recipe from the beginning.
Either The Pats didn’t know what to do with him, or he didn’t know what to do with them (as most suggest), and ultimately we missed an entire season of witnessing Chad’s talent on the field.
The self-proclaimed “brown M&M” seemed to be taking it in stride, though, tweeting…
Then, his broad tweeted,
If its alright with them, then its got to be alright with the rest us.
One thing about Ochocinco that I admire is his cheery disposition. He lives on the positive side of things and that’s a great place to be. But, is his entertainer’s image a hindrance to his career?
The fact that there were no takers for him in a trade scenario is disheartening at best, but now that he is a free agent, I can’t wait to see which teams step forward with interest.
