Yes, that’s right. Tim Tebow has been traded to the New York Jets.
All that hype and hoopla last season and the Denver Broncos sent young Timothy and a seventh-round pick to the Jets for their fourth and sixth-round draft picks.
Hmph.
This is a mess and another lesson in business and loyalty — the two don’t mix; they are not in love.
Maybe Rex Ryan can make this work. Maybe he has a plan. Maybe he can take the Jets to the Super Bowl with Sanchez and Tebow?
I don’t know who to feel bad for most. Tim Tebow for being booted after being placed on a pedestal and bringing joy and wins to the Broncos, or Mark Sanchez, who has already been fighting to find his identity as a starting quarterback, and now has to deal with Tebowmania in his own backyard.
What I will say about Tebow is that I would have definitely wanted to leave the team that allowed me to walk around looking like this….
I wish both these young men the best. They’re gonna need it.
