Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are members of an investment group that purchased the Philadelphia 76ers.
That group is lead by Joshua Harris, a self-made billionaire, as well as David Blitzer, Art Wrubel, Jason Levien, Martin Geller, David Heller, Travis Hennings, James Lassiter (Will Smith’s business manager), Marc Leder, Michael Rubin, Handy Soetedjo, and Erick Thohir.
The new owners haven’t wasted any time getting down to business. Future changes (meaning post lockout) include lower ticket prices, an owners website for open communication with the fans, and a new mantra of “Passionate. Intense. Proud.”
