First, who knew Justin Forsett could sing? The Seattle Seahawks running back decided to make a music video in celebration of he and his wife’s 1-year anniversary.
Brother has a few chops and the video is creative and well produced.
I think the nicest touch is the prayer at the end:
Heavenly Father,
I don’t want to be a god husband because the bar is set so low, I want to be a good husband because I raised the bar. Jesus, I thank you for this woman that you gave me. Thank You for a woman that understands me and supports me, She has truly enhanced my life and been a helpmate.
I understand how important it is for a man to have a friend, partner, and a soulmate that he can trust. I thank you for sending that, Father. I also want to thank you for a wife that doesn’t care about my flaws-someone that doesn’t care that I drool when I sleep and snores at times (but only when I’m tired).
I Thank You for the laughs, Father, we share. The smiles that we have just being around each other. You commanded man to love his wife as he loves the church and I’ll fight to be that man.
AMEN.
Justin has good-looking friends.
You know he’s gonna catch a little flack in the locker room and on the field for this, right?
I’m sure his wife would say its worth it.
Tipping my fedora to Seahawks 12th Man Army.
