Rodman is a talented, yet tragically broken man. It took monumental courage for him to stand before the audience and bare his soul.
His perceived shortcomings as a father and the damage he suffered as a result of absent relationships with his parents have scarred his life.
Surely he will cherish his induction into The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as one of his greatest accomplishments.
