Ballanthropy – Sports Stars Sign Gold Lindt Bunnies for Autism

April marks National Autism Awareness Month and the Lindt Gold Bunny Celebrity Auction is underway. Celebrity auctions are a great way to raise awareness for various causes, and this time Ebay is hosting an auction for Swiss chocolatier Lindt. Many celebs, including some notable sports figures were asked to autograph the gold bunnies and each one is up for bid.

From the NFL the Manning brothers (Eli and Peyton), Mark Sanchez, Ronnie Brown, Tim Tebow and Troy Polamalu join retired players Troy Aikman, Doug Flutie, and Kurt Warner.

NBA All-Stars Dwyane Wade and Dwight Howard are participating.

Major League Baseball players Josh Hamilton, Cliff Lee, David Ortiz, and Manny Ramirez are in on the action too.

Skateboard legend Tony Hawk and tennis champ Roger Federer are lending their celebrity, and so are original and true baller wives Kathie Lee Gifford and Holly Robinson Peete, whose HOLLYROD Foundation was founded in support of her oldest son who is autistic.

Of course, the auction wouldn’t be complete without some Kardashian love, so Kourtney and Kim have signed bunnies too.
