Let Them Play – Can the NFLPA Avert a Lockout?

Today, the NFLPA launched the campaign – Let Us Play Day.

This is an opportunity for the players and fans of the National Football League to stand up and have their voices heard on a topic that can have serious implications on the game of professional football – A LOCKOUT.

The all out blitz (no pun intended) includes a Facebook page, Ustream, Twitter hash tags and pages, such as @NFLPA, @NFLLockout and #LetUsPlay. Individual players, like Jets Safety Jim Leonhard, are also promoting the campaign on their websites.

The Ustream video below is VERY informative. NFLPA Assistant Executive Director of External Affairs Gearge Atallah, and former Tennessee Titan and current NFLPA President Kevin Mawae, conducted a chat this morning on the subject.

Time is ticking away.

The current collective bargaining agreement expires March 3rd.

If you can’t imagine life without football next season (no pre and post-game shows, no interviews, no tailgating, no Hard Knocks, no playoffs or Super Bowl, etc.,) then visit NFLLockout.com and support this effort. Join the fight to prevent the impending labor dispute.
