Its never good when one’s racial identity is questioned. When it comes from one of your own, it stings twice as much. What kind of buzz saw Bernard Hopkins has up the seat of his pants is unclear, but his comments serve no one. Donovan McNabb is probably not sleepless over this comment, but there is only so much ignorance one can endure.
If Hopkins is trying to peak interest in his upcoming fight (May 21st) he is going about it the wrong way.
