Shabazz muhammad and Tim Hardaway Jr. declaring for NBA Draft
Michigan standout Tim Hardaway Jr. and UCLA freshman Shabazz Muhammad have each decided to declare for the 2013 NBA Draft.
Hardaway Jr. is a 6’6″ junior guard who played and started in all 107 games of his Michigan career, averaging 14.3 points and 4.11 rebounds, per game.
Shabazz, as expected, is one and done and leaving the Bruins as the team’s scoring leader for the 2012-13 season, with and average of 17.9 PPG and 5.2 boards.
While Muhammad is slated to be a lottery pick, Hardaway Jr.’s draft stock is unclear — a second round selection is being projected.
Hardaway Jr.’s teammate, Trey Burke declared for the draft just days after the Wolverines appearance in the national championship game.
The 2013 NBA Draft will be held June 27th at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
