Kaepernick, 49ers best Packers to get to NFC Championship
The San Francisco 49ers closed with a 45-31 victory over the Green Bay Packers Sunday night.
But, it was, without a doubt, The Kaepernick show.
Colin Kaepernick amassed 444 yards gained for the 49ers, with four touchdowns, of which 181 yards and two of those TD’s were on the ground (one was 56 yards), setting an NFL playoff quarterback rushing record. He threw one interception.
Aaron Rodgers also threw one interception and ended the evening 26-for-39, 257 yards, and two touchdowns, one each to Greg Jennings and James Jones.
The Packers didn’t seem to have much in the tank for the 49ers — they had four turnovers and the defense gave up 579 yards total.
Kudos to the 49ers for keeping the Pack on their heels.
Sunday’s matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and the Seattle Seahawks will determine who meets San Francisco in the NFC Championship game.
