Gabby Douglas wins the Women’s All-Around Gold Medal
Gabby Douglas is the 2012 Women’s All-Around Gymnastics gold medalist, becoming the first African-American woman to win all-around gold, and the first American woman to win gold in both team and individual competition.
Gabby lead all competitors with a score of 62.232.
Teammate Aly Raisman, missed out on taking home the bronze medal after a tie-break favored Russia’s Aliya Mustafina.
It feels good to say, “Gabby Douglas wins gold!”
The Women’s All-Around Final will be re-broadcast tonight on NBC at 8 PM ET.
