Former NBA star Orlando Woolridge passes away.
Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge passed away Thursday in his native Louisiana, at the home of his parents.
He was reportedly suffering from a heart condition.
Originally drafted in 1981 by the Chicago Bulls, Woolridge played 13 seasons in the league before going overseas to play in Italy, and later coaching in the ABA and WNBA.
Woolridge was 52.
