Lamar Odom officially making his way back to the Los Angeles Clippers

Welcome “home,” L.O.!

Lamar Odom is a Los Angeles Clipper — again.

According to the Los Angeles Times,

Odom was acquired by the Clippers Friday in a four-team deal that sends guard Mo Williams to the Utah Jazz and a trade exception from Ttah to the Dallas Mavericks. The Houston Rockets will recieve the rights to the Clippers second-round draft pick, Furkan Aldemir.

I, for one, am happy to see L.O. return to L.A. I became a fan of his when he was drafted by the Clippers in ’99. He has always been one of my favorite players. It’s been frustrating watching him over the years, though, because I was waiting for him to step into his greatness. He would step into it, then slide right out. Like hide and seek.

I don’t know why the Lakers traded him, and I don’t know what happened in Dallas. I have my hunches, but its pure speculation so I sit in silence on that.

I’m sure he and Khloe are happy to be back.

The Clippers are certain to be in the playoffs next season. Let’s hope Lamar Odom will be the great contributor we know he can be.
