The moral of the story for week 3 of La La’s Full Court Life? Don’t treat your best friends like dried mudpies.
After reliving her TRL days at MTV’s studio…
…La La found herself in a pickle after songstress Monica, who came to New York to record new material, suggested they attend that evening’s Knicks-Suns game together at The Garden. It made perfect because their husbands, Carmelo Anthony and Shannon Brown, would both be playing.
The only problem was that La already promised her besties, Dice and Po, that they could go with her.
Soooooooooo, what’s a diva to do?
Go with Monica!
How did Dice and Po find out?
From the couch!
Needless to say, they were hot as fish grease.
La La felt bad and the girls began to “put her on ice.”
She was so bothered by her decision she decided to talk it over with Ciara….
I’m not sure that Ci Ci heard much of what La was saying because she was to busy GRUBBIN’ (that’s what we Skinny Minnys do)!
In the end, the ladies got together to hash out their differences, but it was Po that let La know that she was WRONG for leaving them hanging. Real talk, you gotta let your girls know when they play you dirty. You see how La was assuming everything would be cool? It wasn’t.
By the way, that song Monica was singing in the studio was FIRE. Can’t wait for her new music.
