Juanita Jordan is selling her condo located in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. Her asking price?
$5 million.
The condo was once shared by she and ex-hubby Michael Jeffrey Jordan. It takes up two floors, spans 8000 square feet and has a rooftop deck and solarium.
Stella Foster of the Chicago Sun-Times spoke with Ms. Jordan about the sale and she gave details about how special the space was and reasons why it wasn’t necessary to keep it.
“The condo is right on the lake and in walking distance to everything, which makes it perfect for shopping, dining and going to the theater,” said Jordan. “We designed it for living and entertaining and it has the most amazing lake and city views.
“I absolutely love this condo and thought my children would eventually move into it, but Jeffrey, my oldest son, has already started his own marketing business and divides his time between Chicago and Florida, and my youngest son, Marcus, will be doing the same, when he finishes college. My beautiful daughter, Jasmine, is a freshman at Syracuse University in New York.”
The condo also boasts a specially ventilated cigar room where MJ and his friends could go and smoke without disrupting the rest of the household.
Juanita Jordan received a $168 million settlement in her 2007 divorce from Michael Jordan.
