The champagne house of Moet & Chandon has stepped onto the hard court of pro tennis by becoming official sponsor of the 2011 US Open.
Moet & Chandon’s debut partnership with the US Open is truly the perfect match, as both brands share a passion for success and celebration,” commented Daniel Lalonde, President and CEO of Moet & Chandon. “Through the magic of champagne, we look forward to creating unique and unforgettable experiences together with the USTA by toasting all the players and fans throughout the exciting competition.
In addition to bringing a level of sophistication to the tournament, Moet & Chandon will also engage the fans through charitable efforts, a Facebook promotion, US Open screenings at select New York City restaurants, and a public auction of celebrity signed magnums of champagne.
The US Open will run August 29 – September 11 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, in Flushing Meadows.
