Last week, during an appearance at the National Cable & Telecommunications Association convention in Chicago, Oprah Winfrey addressed the subject of her fledgling cable network, OWN.
It’s no secret that the network launched to little fanfare and is need of a huge boost, mainly Oprah’s presence. With that in mind, she will host Oprah’s Next Chapter, where she will do what she does best, conduct one-on-one interviews.
Enter Orenthal James Simpson. Yes. That’s correct. Oprah wants O.J. to confess to the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ronald Goldman.

“I have a dream of O.J. Simpson confessing to me,” she told the crowd. She then put the pitch out directly to Simpson: “I want the interview on the condition that you are ready, Mr. Simpson. And I am going to make that happen, people.” It was a pledge met by cheers of approval.
Allow me to say this, if Oprah can get O.J. Simpson to sit down with her and tell the world “yes, I did it” then she is TRULY the baddest broad EVER.
It could be the greatest television event in U.S. history.
Really though? Good luck with that, Oprah.
