And This Too Is A Sports Quote – Chris Bosh (Updated)

Chris Bosh

I am not certain that I have seen, in recent years, an athlete more ridiculed than Miami Heat Forward Chris Bosh.

So, it is of no surprise that he said “I am uncomfortable now.”

The Heat are in the midst of a losing streak, and due to the hype that surrounded Bosh and LeBron James joining Dwyane Wade in Miami, they are all under intense scrutiny.

But, Bosh’s scrutiny has gone the way of bullying in some sense. Photoshopped pictures, twitter pics, twitter trending topics, and ridiculous nicknames for him have become the norm.

The pressure cooker blew with the tears he shed last week during a press conference after a Heat loss to the Orlando Magic.

I made nothing of the crying game, other than Bosh wears his emotions on his sleeve. He is not happy with his role and its affecting his performance.

Only a few know what the chemistry between the “Big Three” is really like. Is there healthy cameraderie? Or is Bosh feeling like an outsider? Only time will tell. If the organization, including the coach and players, don’t right this ship soon, I predict mutiny.

***UPDATE***
At tonight’s post game presser (the Heat beat the Lakers), Chris Bosh said, and I quote,

This was a very big game. We had every…everything riding on this game, really, to be honest with you. And, everbody wanted to win very badly, and just to come out on top, you know, its the best thing to do sometime, is just, you know, get a lil’ man hug and keep on going.

Ummmm, this is why he is fodder for foolishness and laughs.
