Mark Cuban retweets vulgar messages from Lakers fans

Lakers fans pull no punches with Twitter remarks to Mark Cuban

Mark Cuban doesn’t have the most favorable relationship with Los Angeles Lakers fans. That should be of no surprise, as he is the owner of the rivaling Dallas Mavericks.

The flack he caught during and after the two teams met Tuesday night, though, may come as a surprise to you.

Cuban was present at the game at Staples Center and received some very vulgar and disrespectful tweets from apparent Lakers fans, which he freely shared by “retweeting” them. Basically, he was called some unflattering names and told in all sorts of ways that his team sucked.

I tried to choose a tweet to display that might be SFW, but it just wasn’t possible, so you can view them yourself on Cuban’s Twitter timeline.

On a night that was full of class with the retiring of Shaquille O’Neal’s jersey, this display of ignorance leaves much to be desired about fandom.

Cuban is often complicit and dishes out his fair share of smack talk and takes digs at the Lakers organization, having reportedly referred to Phil Jackson as the “first housewife of the Lakers,” an obvious slight of Jackson’s relationship with Jeanie Buss, but I think this went too far.
