Tom Brady appears to aim kick at Ed Reed in AFC Championship game

Questions swirl regarding whether or not New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady attempted to kick Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed during Sunday’s AFC Championship game.

Even the NFL is reviewing the play to see if they need to levy a fine.

Brady apologized to Reed, nonetheless. During an interview with CBS Radio, Reed confirmed the two spoke via phone, also saying…

A little slide kick [by Brady], you know what I’m saying, but it’s a tough spot the quarterback’s in,” Reed said. “You know, I understand Brady’s point. Him protecting himself. I know he’s a great player. I respect Brady and his game for all it stands for, and I know he’s not a dirty player. And emotions get going in the game.

Regardless of what Reed says, I’m inclined to believe Brady tried to kick him on purpose.

It was a little too Suh-esque for my taste.

Tom Brady, you ain’t slick. I’m watching you.

Oh, and you’ll be watching Ed Reed play in the Super Bowl. (giggles)

Extra point for NESN.
