Chris Webber embarks upon entertainment business venture
We all know that former NBA All-Star turned NBA analyst Chris Webber has the face of a god, and that the TNT and NBA TV cameras love him and his Colgate smile, but now he will also lend his resources and talents behind the lens.
Webber formed a production company, aptly named Webber Productions, with Peter Gabriel, the producer and documentary filmmaker behind Hoop Dreams, a critically acclaimed film which masterfully told the on and off-court stories of two Chicago high school basketball players.
Webber Productions initial projects will include a documentary about Chris Webber’s life, and a film about Earl Dickerson, the first African American to graduate from the University of Chicago’s Law School.
